I first visited Asia in the fall of 1999 to study on the Antioch Buddhist Studies Program in Bodh Gaya, India. I was mesmerized with the region so I returned upon college graduation to take a job working and studying on a Buddhist Studies Program in Kathmandu, Nepal called…. I see myself as continuing a life-long relationship with Nepal and India and to make that possible I created Pink Tara Imports as a way of supporting my meditation practice and study when I am there. I buy all items through small friendly craftsman in Nepal and India whom I would like to support with my business. All the items are handmade in small local shops rather than those infamous large ruthless sweatshops. I try to keep my prices very affordable so everyone and anyone can shop here.
